
Chapter 9 – Customizing Presentations
Note: This option also appears when editing Images zones, but not when editing Video Only zones.
o Center image: Centers the image without scaling. This may result in cropping if the image is too large.
o Scale to fit: Scales the image to fit the zone. The image is displayed as large as possible while keeping the
correct aspect ratio.
o Scale to fill and crop: Scales the image to completely fill the zone while maintaining the aspect ratio.
o Scale to fill: Scales the image to fill the zone without maintaining the aspect ratio.
• Initial volume (Audio): Sets the initial volume for audio files (0-100).
• Initial volume (Video): Sets the initial volume for video files (0-100).
• Minimum Volume: Sets the minimum volume for audio files (0-100).
• Maximum Volume: Sets the maximum volume for audio files (0-100).
Note: The Maximum Volume setting will be overridden by other volume settings in a presentation, including the Initial
Volume setting for the zone and volume commands attached to events or states.
Editing Ticker Zones
• Number of lines: Set the number of lines of text in the Ticker zone.
• Time to display each line: Set how long each line displays in
the Ticker zone (in seconds).
• Rotation: Use the dropdown list to select the angle of text in
the Ticker zone.
• Alignment: Use the dropdown list to set whether text is left
aligned, right aligned, or centered in the Ticker zone.
Note: If you’re using a right-to-left language (such as Hebrew or
Arabic) in your ticker zone, the right/left alignment settings will be
inverted. For example, setting a ticker zone with an Arabic RSS
feed to “Right aligned” will actually align the text to the left side of
the zone.
