The demo playlist I downloaded works, but my playlist does not.
1 Try simplifying the playlist by removing any comments or keywords, and just include one or
two files.
2 Try editing the playlist you downloaded, and using the modified playlist.
3 If you're using a word processor to edit your playlist, try using Notepad on the PC or
Tex tEdit on the Mac. Playlists must be plain text files.
Troubleshooting Interactive Playlists
Before attempting to resolve any interactive playlist problems on BrightSign, please start with
this checklist.
1 Make sure the interactive playlist and your content are in the root of the flash card.
2 Make sure the interactive playlist is named AUTOPLAY.CSV.
3 Download a BrightSign interactive demo and confirm it plays.
The demo files I downloaded work in my interactive playlist, but my files do not
If the demo files play, then the problem could be with your files, not the interactive playlist.
Normally, if files don't play at all, there's a problem with the content format.
1 Remove any non-alpha numeric characters from your file names. For example, the symbol
+ is not acceptable in a file name.
2 See Content Playback for more help solving content related problems.
